JIDDER plays traditional music from Skåne - the most southern province of Sweden. The repertory of JIDDER is drawn from several centuries; from the exciting developments of the last couple of decades and back to the 1600's when the province of Skåne wasn't even a part of Sweden. The philosophy of the group is to let the beauty of the music speak for itself through the personalities of the musicians and the instruments, violin, bosoki, wooden flute, mandola, guitar and the voice.
I'll upload another one later. Your new stuff with the stompbox is amazing! Your music already had so much incredible feel and rhythm, now I can imagine people at rave festivals going crazy over it. I'm still playing 2 of your tunes with my foot drums, hope to cross paths again one day and link it all up. Cheers!
Hello there folks.....great music as i expected!! i hope you are keeping well, good luck with the band, your Belfast buddy,Barry.....give me a shout next time your over
Cool, I'll see ya at the Gustov gig for sure. Heard from your bandmate you lived in Ennis for a while so I'm sure you'll be crankin the tunes! Cheers, Tim
Hej good to hear from ya Markus. I really loved your gig, and would love to learn some of those skåne tunes! It would be great to get a cd from you if possible. I'm off to Norway tomorrow but hope to be back for the Malmö festival. Someone interpreted for me that you were getting a stompbox made, they are very common where I come from, often just old wooden boxes or even guitar cases. This one tops them all farmerfootdrums.com, would be hilarious to see you guys use one. All the best, hope to see ya's again soon. Cheers, Tim
Kære Jidder. I har ikke bare fanget Malmö fra sin fineste side. I har også fanget min opmærksomhed og dybeste respekt. Det lyder super godt det I laver. Tak for det! Hilsener fra Nikolaj
