If I were on the proverbial deserted island and had to choose one band, I'd go with U2, My Chemical Romance, and Death Cab for Cutie. (I'm not good at decision making and my counting skills have atrophied.)
Movies
Nope. I only watch films. (If you're drinking a cold beverage while reading this, beware of condescension dripping into your keyboard.)
Some favorites are Stay, anything Tim Burton, A Scanner Darkly, Pulp Fiction, Mulholland Drive, I Heart Huckabees, and Wings of Desire.
Television
Alternates between being a display piece for my most recent artwork, and my best friend. When I'm in TV mode, I like House, ER, The Simpsons/American Dad/Family Guy, and, when I'm feeling particularly pathetic, anything that happens to be on.
Being Tivo-challenged, I can't watch much television without having to mute because of commercial onslaught.
Books
Hope they don't become obsolete in my lifetime.
Favorite authors include all the members of "The Rock Bottom Remainders," Haruki Murakami, and Charles de Lint. Depending on my mood, I'm either very fond or deeply ashamed of my own novels. All three of them...
