About me:

I was born in Bend, Oregon, but moved to Washington when I was two, so that is where I claim home. I'm married and living in Orem, Utah. I graduated from BYU in December 2004 with a BA in English and an editing minor and am currently working for Symantec as a technical editor. My husband is attending Utah Valley State College (now Utah Valley University) working towards a BS in Computer Science. He wants to go onto grad school and receive an MS and PhD in Computer Science so he can teach at the college level. We have a son, Alex, born on February 29, who is a bundle of love (and spit). He is a joy to have (esp. when he sleeps through the night), and we're so glad to be blessed with him. He has definitely changed our lives, mostly for the better. (Although I'm still getting used to the fact that I can't just get up and go somewhere when I want, and Aaron and I can't go to the movies whenever. It's like, oh right, what about Alex?)

Who I'd like to meet:
President Gordon B. Hinckley. I have actually shaken his hand, but I would love the opportunity to talk with him. I think that having a personal conversation with him would increase my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Hilary Duff. I think that she strives to be a good role model for young girls and I would want to tell how important it is for her not to let Hollywood make her believe she needs to be a bad girl. I would want to encourage her to continue having a good-girl image because there is nothing wrong with that.
