How did I get this way? As an infant, I fell off the back of a gypsy caravan. Soon after, I was lauded at dinner parties throughout North Jersey for performing “Mein Herr” in a feather boa and a bowler hat.
I escaped over the Jersey border and lived a sordid life on the New York stage until, seduced by the legends of the Beat poets and the Beach Boys, I headed for sunnier shores.
I am a writer by day and a neo-burlesque starlet by night - kind of like the ‘80s movie 'Angel,' but with more beaded fringe. I am famous for my shimmy and for my naughty homage to the only truly cool Disney Princess.
I'm also a bossy rock wife and a mouthy political activist. I work with Axis of Justice, Food Not Bombs, and Amnesty International.
