ABOUT JILLIAN’S OF ALBANY


Jillian’s Of Albany was originally corporate owned and built at it’s current location in 1998. Since January of 2007 it has been under private ownership and is a partnership between three local businessmen; Ralph Spillenger, Mike DiRaddo and John Botti. These men are all local and want to give back to the area that they call home.

These men, Ralph, Mike and John have a vision to reinvigorate the stagnant corporate face and any negative stigma that Jillian’s of old had before taking it over. The goal of the partners is to reestablish the business and provide an updated and remodeled Jillian’s Of Albany that will be fun and exciting for EVERYONE.


WHAT WE HAVE DONE


Currently, we have changed the 30 60” projection TV’s to 23 brand new 70” High Definition LCD TV’s. We have repainted and redecorated the main dining area and the sports bar area. Also, we have set up a permanent stage with a full sound system and lighting system to make more prominent band want to play here at Jillian’s Of Albany. We also developed a new menu that still hosts a lot of the old dishes that were favorites and new ones that have caught on and became our new signatures.

Next, we have created a newly remodeled banquet room that can seat up to 200 people and has such amenities as 2 full size billiards tables, its own music selection along with PA system, an integrated projector that is computer ready as well as cable and satellite ready, and the room can be closed off from the rest of the restaurant.

We have remodeled the game room located downstairs by painting and putting up walls where corporate Jillian’s just had hung curtains over an old cement wall. We have reinvigorated the bar making it capable to any type of volume. We created a billiard area and opened the windows that had been walled off and tinted black by corporate Jillian’s. We also have made it so the game room can have different music from the rest of the establishment and have added 6 50” Plasma TV’s that are used for video games as well as sporting events.

In the dance club we have been working on perfecting the sound system, replacing ruined and outdated equipment that corporate Jillian’s was still using. We have added more VIP Seating , a Full Bottle Service and more dance lights. This area is still very much under construction currently.


WHAT WE WANT TO DO IN THE FUTURE


We plan on completely redoing the nightclub. It will look completely different with multiple private rooms and totally redesigned club. It will be modeled after the ULTRA LOUNGES you see in NYC and in Las Vegas. We have been researching to develop the perfect club. When done we hope to have the nicest club in New York north of New York City.

We also plan to completely redo the menu again. This time, focusing more on the dishes that define our restaurant as opposed to the general corporate menu we have been dealing with.

We also want to update the game room. Newer updated games will replace older games. We want to re-felt the billiard tables as soon as possible and create the ULTIMATE gaming experience.

Overall, we want to make Jillian’s Of Albany a very fun and exciting place to be. The destination for many, not just for the nightclub or the bar experience, but also for the parties, the banquets and just coming in to have GREAT food. We are constantly remodeling and inputting ideas that should make this the destination in Albany and all the surrounding areas.
