This site is dedicated to my son Matt, who died peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 1 , 2008, after a 5 year battle with Ewings Sarcoma. (a very aggressive type of bone cancer found mostly in children and teens). We will never know why this happened to Matt, he was only 19 years old at the time of his diagnosis. He went through so much in the next 5 years, in his fight to live, but he never complained and never really let anyone know how very sick he was. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and always believed he would beat this awful cancer. After undergoing a life-threatening bone marrow transplant in 2006 he went into remission and life was good for awhile. He met a beautiful girl and they planned on marrying and spending their lives together. When his cancer returned She stuck with Matt thru the worst of it, and took care of him and loved him till he took his last breath. We who knew and loved Matt will miss him greatly, he taught us all , to not take life so seriously, get over things, and enjoy every day. Rest in peace my angel, the pain is over.....

It's lonesome here without you
We miss you so each day,
Our lives aren't the same
Since you went away.
When days are sad and lonely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper,
"Cheer up and carry on."
Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping,
We'll meet again someday."

About me: glitter-graphics.com
God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be. So
He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered ‘Come with me.’
He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend.
He faced his pain with courage, until the very end.
He tried so hard to stay with us, his fight was not in vain,
God took him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.

His Journey's Just Begun.....
Don't think of him as gone away-
his journey's just begun.
life holds so many facets
the Earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears.
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched,
For nothing loved is ever lost....
And he was loved so much.
