~TROUBADUO: BVC & JM SUPPORT PREEMPTIVE LOVE~
If you get a chance, please take a few minutes to view this beautiful video from an organization called "Preemptive Love" and a charity they started called "Buy Shoes Save Lives."
"Buy Shoes Save Lives" is a reputable non-profit that raises money and awareness to innocent children whose bodies have been highly affected by chemical warfare. So many of these children need new hearts. Preemptive Love and "Buy Shoes Save Lives" has made it possible for these children to live. Thousands of dollars for a heart transplant seems like so far away especially right now in our current recession. But I will tell you that lives are being saved. Eight children went in for surgery the beginning of February 2009 and there will be many more to come.
It IS possible to make a difference. Even if you cannot donate to this amazing cause, share Preemptive Love with at least one other person and keep checking back to www.PreemptiveLove.org to watch the miracles of life unfold before your eyes.
*Special thanks to mine and Bryson's friend Cody Fisher and the rest of the staff at Preemptive Love for your selfless acts of love and all of the lives you have saved*
Music and rhythm found their way into the secret places of Jill Marie’s soul at a young age. Her wide genre (Folk/Rock/Sunshine Pop) of songs reflect an ever changing journey of acceptance and healing, encompassing the grandeur beauty of knowing absolute Love. Moving with the tides of her life, Jill Marie's soulful songs embrace the heartstrings of those around her.
She released her album “All Hearts” in April 2009. Co-producing the album with hubby Bryson VanCleve, her touring and writing partner, allows them both the creative freedom to release the art they intend to express.
Bryson is a folk/rock, Americana, high energy, delta blues soul singer. When he opens his mouth, his songs ignite the souls of those around him. As a touring band called "TROUBADUO," this soul singing duo uses their voices along with other instruments to perform mostly original material. You can view their live performance videos at: www.youtube.com/soulsingingduo.
In her home state California, she has a three-year residency with “Acoustically Speaking” at the Room 5 Lounge in Los Angeles, a five-year residency with the Annual Fair in Santa Barbara, and a ten-year residency with the Annual Avo Fest in Carpinteria.
She believes that life isn’t worth living without giving. In doing so, Jill Marie finds great joy in supporting various nonprofit organizations such as: NAMI, the Gabriel House, the Make A Wish Foundation, Bridges of Hope, Hurricane Katrina Relief, Unity Shoppe, Sound Art, the Petra Luna Foundation and Preemptive Love, a reputable non-profit that saves the lives of children battling heart complications in Northern Iraq.
Jill Marie looks forward to a long-lasting musical journey, staying true to her artistic groove, and sharing some sunshine along the way.
