I've been singing since I could talk, and people kept asking why I'd never recorded. Mostly it's been lack of opportunity and lack of material.
'Be Still' was written in a moment beside a lake near my home. At the time I was learning about what it meant for life to be more simple...what it meant to be quiet...to listen. Something I wrote in the acknowledgments on the CD artwork sums up what I was thinking at the time: "To Jesus - for loving me to infinity and for teaching me that chaos never trumps being still."
I love to sing, and I love sharing my voice with others. I also love watching people worship God. It's so beautiful.
