Okay, truth is, I don't really spend all my time in meetings or on the computer. Enjoy hanging out with friends at the coffee shop (Swift Creek is my favorite place), going to movies, going out to dinner, etc. The usual stuff I guess. But most of all, I really enjoy one on one time with a close friend, talking about anything/everything. Especially with someone who will challange me on what I'm thinking...LOL

Not much to tell, just a regular old guy who spends much of his free time on the computer or at A.A./N.A. meetings. I guess I should explain...LOL. Almost all my friends, family, and sponsees are on line too. So, lots of IM'ing goes on with emails and audio/video chats too. I also have my own website www.recoverydaily.com and get lots of email from that. And of course, there is my real blog where I talk about my life, recovery, and just random thoughts about things..
This not all to say that I spend ALL my time on the computer, I do get out and do so very much love to spend time with friends. Of course though if I'm going to be at the coffe shop for very long I bring my laptop (Geez, I must really sound like a geek...LOL). And I do have all my IM messengers point to my text phone just in case I'm off line for very long...LOL (Yes I have more than one phone, three actually, but that's another whole story).
Ok, for the real stuff. I am very single and have two wonderful daughters. The oldest, Cliantha, is 35 and lives in Texas. You can check out her MySpace to learn more abour her. She is truly a blessing to me, and of course we IM everyday. My youngest, Jessica (who I raised on my own), is 18 and is about to start college AND a family! I will be a grandfather soon, really excited about that! You can learn more about her on her MySpace as well (Mommy J). Spending time with friends, family, and sponsees is very important to me..
As you may have guessed, I am in recovery and attend A.A./N.A. meetings. I have been clean and sober for 19 years (by the grace of God I can assure you...LOL). So, naturally this is very important to me as well.
So, why am I here? Mostly because everyone else I know has a MySpace and its a great way to keep up with them. But, also I would very much like to make more friends, on line and here at home.
