Thanks for the friendship.
I see you love the long trail too. I thru hiked it 4 times in the last 20 years and it's still new every time I hike it. There are lots of cool old shelters on the way some still have stoves or fireplaces in them. Montclaire glen is one of them but it's kind of known to locals as a hang out place. What did you think of journeys end ? Did you see that cammo building on the canadian side? The one with very long narrow observation stations? you can see it when you stand at the Oblelisk atthe border. Lots of great memories and pictures. I used to work in the green mountain national forrest let me know if you want
the location of a good peaceful place to camp (cabin)sometime.
