For the last 7 years JIMBINO VEGAN has been travelling around Europe and Asia by bycycle, on foot, in boats, hitchiking, taking trains and other more environmentally friendly means of transport with different artists. The journeys have been funded totally by playing music in the streets and selling reproductions of his artwork along the way.

He has ammassed a VAST collection of ORIGINAL ART WORK. Mostly watercolours but also acrylics, murals, stencils, puppets, comics, masks, costumes and some unique techniques maniulating photocopy machines.

Jimbino is a composer (all tracks on this site are original) and plays clarinet and ukulele in many street bands over the years. He also doubles as a props, publicity and poster designer for the bands he has worked with and other groups (see the photos on this site for examples). He is an enthusiastic free style dancer (a combination of Breakdance, the Drunk Rabbi style, contortion and Charleston) and has adapted and directed several theatrical pieces and puppet shows (including shadow puppets, masks and full size body puppets!) He has extensive written records of his travels - samples of which can be read in the Blog - which he has independently published along with his illustrations on a small-scale, strictly-for-profit (or as presents) basis. He is currently looking for an art agent and publishers for his comics and travel illustrations and accounts!
He is the main editor of the 4 year running WATERADDICTION MAGAZINE - a seasonal publication of artwork and writing by underground artists.

He is currently looking for an AGENT for his artwork; galleries to exhibit in the UK and a serious publisher for his illustrations and stories. He has prepared a lecture and slide show about his travels in Asia to tour schools, hospitals and prisons in the UK to raise money for a community theatre project this summer in Tibet. He is also auditioning musicians for a new band in London (any interested musicians please contact 0207 2785838 - good attitude more important than virtuosity! Virtuosity more important than looks!
