just me...originally from Jamestown , N.Y. - home of Lucille Ball and the 10,000 Maniacs...I'm a pastor with the Evangelical Covenant Church as well as a singer/songwriter...I went to school in Chicago at North Park University and Trinity College, then to North Park Seminary. I tried to never let studying interfere with my education...(my oldest son is at UF, a Gator, and unlike me is an excellent student!) I also spent 3 years on the road with a band called HeartSong traveling all over the US, Canada and Europe. I feel blessed to still be able to be involved with both of my passions...
Someone once said "If you look at the sun directly, you'll go blind. But if you look at the moon, you'll become a poet."
Music is like that. The creation of it comes from a Place we can't look at or see directly, and if we did it would be too overwhelming. But we can catch glimpses of that Place when we write, play or listen to music.
I hope that the music I write and sing gives you a taste of the Unseen, a breath of Sweet Air, and a sense of Hope that goes beyond words or understanding.
