About Jim Bryson

Jim Bryson is a singer-songwriter and musician from Canada's "small town" capital city of Ottawa. His three critically acclaimed albums - “The Occasionals” (2000), “The North Side Benches” (2003), and “Where the Bungalows Roam” (2007), have seen releases in his home country of Canada, the UK and Ireland and he has toured extensively all over North America, Europe and the UK in support of these recordings. When not crooning, talking and wandering the national landscapes on his own, Jim is regular member of Kathleen Edward’s band, a sometime Weakerthan and a occasional side fellow in Giant Sand luminary Howe Gelb’s ‘Sno Angel group. Jim has recently begun work on his 4th solo record and is spending time at home hanging out with his new daughter.
