Jim Coughlin's Interests
General
Oil wrestling with inner personal demons.
Music
I like German Music. Beethoven, Bach, Nena.
Movies
I enjoy a wide variety of films but I'm partial to 35mm Technicolor sound feature length films with a 2.35 : 1 aspect ratio.
Television
This seems like an invitation to be burglarized. Mine is a 27" RCA with Picture in Picture. Don't know the model number. It's very heavy. And I have an attack dog.
Books
While I love reading, I'm more partial to pamphlets. Right now on my bedside table I have "Common Sense" and "The Family of Tempur-Pedic Foam Mattresses".
Heroes
Obviously Sherwood Schwartz, Bonnie Franklin, O.J. Simpson (pre 1994 O.J., of course), Arnold Schwarzenegger (the body building years), Arthur Lydiard, W. Edwards Deming, Woody Allen (just for his personal life, never seen his films or heard his comedy album), FDR, Lincoln, Edison, Ford (except the anti-Semitism), Frank Lloyd Wright, The Wright Brothers (really), Philo T. Farnsworth, Carl Lewis, Nelson Mandela, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Perry King, Frank Capra, Martin Luther King Jr., Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, my parents. George Washington & George Washington Carver.
Was nice to meet ya last night Jim, very funny that the 'faker me' on facebook keep trying to get ya to add me lol. I just saw where you went to school and it made me laugh because my Auntie Donna was the art prof there for years, she is now teaching at a university overseas. Thanks for finding me on this cyber crack and hope to run into you again and hear more of your funny self ;-) funny bunny love and laughter, Julie
Hey, Jim, Greetings from a band of rock n' roll astronauts for peace. Thanks for letting us land our eco-spaceship on your extremely funny planet of pamphlet-reading, oil wrestling with demons, and Bonnie Franklin idolatry (I agree... she's hot). You are always welcome at dreamland11, our Gaian outpost of social justice, anti-baldism, and full-frontal nerdity. Peace and pomp, RE-VO
