Jim Deeming has been playing thumb or fingerstyle guitar since the age of six. An avid fan and student of Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed and others, he can play a wide range of songs, from classical and gospel to country, pop, and rock.
Whether playing one of his own originals or covering a favorite, his infectious love of hearing a tune arranged for solo guitar is evident in every song.
Playing solo arrangements of hymns and gospel numbers has been a mainstay of his guitar playing career - and is the driving theme behind his debut CD project, "First Fruits" - available now at
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/deemingjim.
Jim entertains audiences with his easygoing style, humorous storytelling, and an amazingly broad playlist, sure to contain something for everyone in the room.

Hey, Jim! So glad to see you in these parts. I don't even have to listen to know it's going to be awesome. But I'm still going to spin these several times anyway. ;-) Ah..YES! I'm so jealous!
