Brandon Ivey is the only permanent member of Jimes, but he is not a solo
artist because he cannot be. He does not know how to play any instruments. Instead of learning, he
gets his friends and/or strangers to play music for him. 99.9 percent
of the music made by Jimes is non-fiction, the rest is "adult
contemporary."
The band formed in Bellingham in 2003(?). Brandon spent four years in the mid-aughts in the Washington, DC area. During that time he performed solo and even appeared on television. Brandon currently resides in Bellingham (and wrote these words).
