Welcome to my "songwriter" page. This is the page where you'll find my quieter, more reflective material. If you like it raunchier, go to my other page, you'll see the link below. I write when I can and record mainly on a mac in my home studio. My old dayjob took me far across this wide world of ours - loved Paris the best but fond of Belfast and of the climate in southern Portugal. I'm way too old to be cool, but sometimes, if I turn too quickly, the pea inside my head rattles around and I come up with something folks actually like and this has resulted in a few wee accomplishments (such as international songwriting contest wins and finalist placements and being a featured artist on "Acidplanet") and some of my stuff even got on the radio! Anyway, as a writer, I'm always trying to improve my thing. Support me as I reach for that movie placement, that track-of-mine-recorded-by-someone-else, that Grammy (steady now!). Also, see my Broadjam page at www.broadjam.com/jimferrie. Thanks for listening! ...............J.................

Thanks for dropping by into my little world !! Yeah the piano is my 1st instrument and guitar 2nd so I do acoustic piano work in Hotels and then I'm out at the weekend as a one-piece with tracks etc... and make a racket of a different nature !! I so need to spend more time writing though !!
Congrats about the song on the radio - well deserved - it really is a good song.... I still remember the vibe in the room when you sang it acoustic at BNSF..... Kim's great - her voice is just so suited to radio - very distinctive.... Anyway, glad to hear all is well with you - keep up the good work of writing... Take care for now..Talk again soon.....Siobhan
TAXI Road Rally... Hmmm, sorry to say but not this year for me. I'm really sad about it too. It was one of the best things I ever did. Hope to make it next year. If you go, please LMK how it was! Cheers, Mike.
Well....I don't know. Maybe if You do... It's all about friends you know... You must be one of those Scottish psychics because just yesterday I was going to ask you the same thing.. I'll go if you do...how's that? haha! --ben
Good Morning to you Jim, thanks for stopping by, sure was good to see you. Dropping in on you to say thank you for the music, thank you for the friendship, because if it wasn’t for you and friends like you, I wouldn’t be here. Have a great Blessed weekend. Always with love and respect. Your friend, Dianna.
Jim, well done my friend, very well done. Pick Me Up, great beat with fun and edgy lyrics (great comparisons). Loved the earthy vocals. Bombardier's Moon really told a story and the chord structure was very nice. And, Until The Last Goodbye, just an absolutely lovely piece of music. As I said, well done. Thanks for the friendship. I appreciate it. Hope all is good. Be well.
