About me:
Hello!
I’m Jim Weidner and I want to welcome you to my MySpace page. I am a Republican running to replace Donna Nelson as State Representative in House District 24, Yamhill Co. This is an exciting challenge and one that I believe will be successful in the fall.
This is a journey that I thought I could handle on my own, and I soon found out an important life lesson; the largest victories are done with the help and support from family, friends and the cooperation of like minded citizens working together for a cause greater than the individual.
My family has a long history from this area dating back to the mid-1800. Our family has been involved in agriculture, business, and education for over 150 years. It’s a legacy I am very proud of. I have dedicated my life to continuing productive and practical service by providing direction, economic motivation, and common sense solutions for our community.
For myself, as someone who works in the hi-tech field along with owning a restaurant, I have a unique experience that will prove useful as I anticipate serving you in the Oregon legislature.
