JimmiG is an Arizona Based Musician who writes guitar based melodic songs drawn from influences such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Shins, Matthew Sweet, Camper Van Beethoven and The Posies and others.
JimmiG is currently working on home demos for an upcoming CD to be released in 2009, and he also plays lead guitar in a Beatles cover band called the "Mutant Beatles Experiment" (MBE) that pops up for shows here and there across the Phoenix metro area.
Most recently JimmiG has been performing with old friend and bandmate Art Edwards, as they promote Art's latest CD "Songs From Memory" as well as Art's 2 Rock'n'Roll Novels: "Stuck Outside of Phoenix" and "Ghost Notes." JimmiG and Art have performed in Chicago, Portland OR as well as in the Metro Phoenix Area.
JimmiG's previous bands include The Solemines, Friends of Betty, The Hanson Brothers, Danny, Johnny Bionic and the Trailer Park Disaster, Dolphins Kill for Love, Axis, Head Cheese, Bernie and the 100% Kosher Band and The Heartgraves.
Jim has also jumped up on stage and jammed with bands and musicians such as The Refreshments, Art 'Buddy' Edwards, Roger Clyne, The Scones, Tim Anthonise, Martin Shears, Tony Robinson, John Paderi, Drunk Prom Date and of course the Zen Lunatics at Rock-aroke.
