About me:
Jim Hemphill is a filmmaker and writer who began his career as a critic writing for the Chicago Reader, Film Quarterly, Cinefantastique, and other publications. In 2007 his award-winning debut film, BAD REPUTATION, was released by Warner Bros. and Maverick Entertainment. In addition to his filmmaking endeavors, Jim is a contributing writer at American Cinematographer magazine and its website, www.theasc.com.
