I don't have any idea what constitutes a commercially successful CD, but I think I can recognize GREAT musicianship and GREAT music. Teddy	Mar 29 2009 2:37 AM So we are driving down the road and my 5 year old asks me "Daddy, will you play that song, you know, that instrumental by that man that plays the guitar medleys real good". Of course I know she is talking bout 'The Pearl of Pearl, Ky' because I have played it for her about 9000 thousand times, however I couldn't play it at the time because a speaker is acting up in the car but I promise to play it when we get home(and I did, so the count is now 9,004)and then she asked "Daddy, why don't we ever go to see that man play?". And I tell her that her mother and I seen "that man" in Charlotte with C Lynch but that is the closest that we have ever seen "that man" come to Asheboro, NC. Then I had to explain to her that she was too young to go with us then because that it seem to upset her that we had seen "that man" without her. So her next question she asked was asked with a little bit of emotion and a whole lot of concern, "Daddy, does that man not like us?" and I tell her no, it's just "that man" is very busy and I'm sure one day he'll come close enough for us to go seen him. And she says "I can't wait." and I tell her I can't either. Just thought I would share with you a little of my joy and thank you for your music for it has brought us hours of joy. Ordered Hot & Spicy tonight. . . I can't wait!! BTW, I did share with my daughter "that man's" name. God Bless you Jim!!
