A native of Newport , Gwent Jim Kitson now works as a singer, actor, composer and musical director. He's composed and acted for Northern Stage, Hull Truck, Live Theatre, Polka Theatre,Theatre Sans Frontieres, NTC touring theatre and CTC and was Musical Director for 'Cooking With Elvis' in the West End. As one half of 'The Senators' He made albums for Virgin Records and Go! Discs in the nineties and last year composed 'Manifesto for the New City' with poet Julia Darling. He was a member of the Northern Stage ensemble for 7 years.
Earlier this year he toured in 'WASTE IN SPACE' his one man show dealing with Welsh intergalactic waste disposal techniques.
He makes albums for fun and thanks Rose Calcott and Stephen Lamb for their bits of discarded drum kit. Only by exercising the utmost restraint is he able to prevent himself listing all the musical instruments and pieces of equipment used in the making of his recordings and going on about them at length. But much of the third album was inspired by a 1980 Marshall JMP MkII 50 watt master volume head and a Marshall 1960a 100 watt cabinet.

I have Kate Nash's album too, it's quite good I quite like it, but it's not as good as Jim Kitson 1 and Jim Kitson 2... which are my favourite albums in the world.
