Jimmie Bone is a band, a solo artist, songwriter and producer, as well as a pseudonym and nickname! The name Jimmie Bone has been around for a long while now but the band in its current format consists of: Jimmie Bone Bass and Vocals, Jimmie's long time drummer and friend Jason McCluskey Guitarist, Steve Haughey and Lawrie Bolton playing keyboards for the live band and future recording projects.
The debut album from Jimmie Bone 'The Fifth Continent' is available from August 1st 2008. This is an eclectic mix of songs with melody and heart. The album includes the soon to be released single, 'Queen Of The Summer'. A beautiful tale of summer and lost youth, featuring the unmistakeable groove of legendary Clash drummer Nick 'Topper' Headon, on one of his first studio recordings for many years.
Jimmie is also promoting himself and the band by performing solo acoustically, occasionally with guest performers. This includes songs from the new album as well as a mixture of old and new classic songs... Check out the gig list for these performances.
