The Jim Morey Band is a solo to 10+ piece, low down and dirty band of Gypsy vagabonds, huffin' an a puffin' original New Orleans flavored Jazz and beyond...
When you listen closely, you may hear drums, trumpets, trombones, saxamaphones, pianjo (electric midi banjo), regular ol’ banjo, ukulele, mandolin, keyboard, upright bass, washboard, slide whistle, Theremin, penny whistle, kazoo, mouth harp, tambourine, afro picks, pocket lint and more. It all depends on the moon… and the bid.
Our groove du jour ranges from swirling swings to down trodden durges, maddening polkas to gypsy jukes, haunting ballads to playful jams.
