I went to college and got a degree in elementary education. I got my teaching credential and started life as an elementary school teacher. Yup, that’s right; I was an elementary school teacher for ten years. I loved school as a kid, but as a teacher, WHOA! Too much responsibility for me. and my restroom breaks were on some one else’s schedule. For fun one night I tried telling jokes as a stand-up comedian at a local talent show. I loved it! And, I could pee whenever I wanted. We all have our priorities in life. I left the school teacher gig and hit "the road" as a stand-up comedian. My wife also hit the road looking for stability. Since than I’ve toured with George Lopez, Arsenio Hall, Brad Garrett and Richard Jeni. I’ve worked some amazing venues. Now, you can find me doing my own shows as "The Teacher Comedian". You'll get my view of the classroom from both sides of the teacher's desk.

About me: I taught grade school for ten years. The bulk of my act comes from my years in the classroom. You get two perspectives; my years of being a student and as being a teacher. My hope is that any emotional scars my students may have suffered while I was their teacher have healed. Mine have not.
Your homework never ends, kids. Life is a roller coaster. Keep your hands inside the car, scream, laugh and even cry. But, whatever you do, ENJOY THE RIDE!
