Just to let you all know, The Last Drop no longer exists. New owners took the reigns in December and changed the name. They claim to have fired me however I have recieved no notice to that effect. Real pros, these people. In other words I am thankfully no longer in their employ.
Still waiting for severance..... soooooooo...
I sing in a wee London cult status punk rawk band called The Carnies. It's been a passion my whole life as there's nooothing like checking out a good concert! Seems the music's in me, most especially, the London Underground Music Scene. Carnies are a 7 piece sleaze-punk-cheap-drunk-smart-rawk band consisting of horns and rhythms that are guaranteed to kick the doors off... Fun is, well, fun. Passion's in the music................
CARNIES are: Chris VandeMaele, inception. Jimmy Carnie, conception. Chippy, dead guitarist. BadBob, dead bassist. The Dark Lord, cornet, drools. Panties, catcher. Pitcher, dead bassist. Daryl Licht, found innocent, dead bassist, new guitar player; dead guitar player. Mikey Carnie, drink mixtures, productive horniness, rhythm and booze. Skunk, drunk. Chad D. Portee, dead bass, crowd participation. Full-Time Rudy Love, 4 whole strings and horticulture. Mitz Jagger plays lead guitar while sweating profusely at even the remotest thought of anything that wreaks of effort! Up with velcro..! Down with laces..! OH Ya! It's a 7 piece!!!

Unfortunately, I am also to blame for the Anti-Folk open jam, an extremely fun and successful jam down at The Last Drop, now The Black Shire located on Talbot at Dufferin...Sadly the vibe there is no longer; teamed up with fellow Carnie, Mikey, me n Jeffy put together a 2-3 piece accoustic and horn deal called The Crawlers....every Monday evening at the WICK 9-2 we showcase local talent in a comfortable loose drunk-ass environment we like to call 'THE ANTI-FOLK SHOW', sure to please... all formats, anything goes! ... The song you are hearing is called 'Diesel' by The Carnies. This accoustic version as done by The Crawlers (yes we're all family and exchange heads for Christmas!) was recorded in 'Crawli-Phonic Porta-Sound', live from the Last Drop. Remember. We suck just enough that no-one is afraid to get up and play!!! Look no further than right here to book us... Cheers!

Thanks for having us play tonight! I had fun, despite being terrified. Sorry for not being more prepared... having a final exam the day after the gig really messed with my practising time! Hopefully it'll be a little smoother next time. Thanks again for a fun night!
