One of the most original and distinctive new stars on television, radio, stage and now the big screen, Jimmy has hosted two hit Channel 4 series: The Friday Night Project and most recently 8 out of 10 Cats, gaining an audience of 5 million viewers for its last show. He has appeared on many other hit shows such as the Royal Variety Show (for the 2nd time), BBC1s Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, BBC2s Top Gear, QI, Have I got news for you and hosted several specials such as C4s The Big Fat End of Year Quiz and Comedians Comedian.
Although Jimmy’s profile is more as a television personality he started out and continues to be a very talented stand-up comedian. Jimmys first live show, Bare Faced Ambition, gained him a Perrier Nomination in 2002. National sell-out tours quickly followed with Charm Offensive in 2003, Public Display of Affection in 2004, Off The Telly in 2005, Gag Reflex’ in 2006 and Repeat Offender’ last year. Jimmy is currently on tour with his ’Joke Technician’ show.
Jimmy has also starred on the big screen in four feature films: Confetti, Alien Autopsy and Storm Breaker, all released in 2006, and I Want Candy, released in 2007.
Finally, in Feb 07, Jimmy became the first comedian to perform in cyberspace with a special competition winners-only event within the virtual reality community of Second Life. In doing so, Jimmy obtained a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Hi - I'm Jimmy Carr - and welcome to my MySpace page!
I'm still fairly new to this whole MySpace thing, but over time I'll be building up my profile with clips and snippets of material, in addition to keeping a semi-regular blog with updates on stuff that I've been up to.
Hopefully I will update my blog every week or so, so feel free to add me to your contacts list or favourites and check back every now and again.
Thank you to everyone who's sent me messages or comments. I'll try and respond to as many as I can, but please forgive me if can't. I'm so busy at the moment with a new series of 8 out of 10 Cats and also with my new tour (Joke Technician) taking place throughout the UK - in the meantime, someone from my agent's office will try and keep the profile as up to date as possible.
On my profile you can find a few photos and audio/video clips, but for more information you can visit my website at www.jimmycarr.com.
If you want to get hold of my agent, Hannah Chambers, you can find her contact details on the Chambers Management website at www.chambersmgt.co.uk.
I think that's about it really. Thanks for looking at my MySpace page - I'll keep you updated on everything that's going on.
Best wishes,
Jimmy
p.s. I am now on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=750080076
Just to support your commitment to bad taste ...The Independent (I think it was Dominic Lawson's column) had it right, rather than The Daily Mail, IMHO.
Eejits.
Why be outraged against this when there's better things to be disgusted about like the Nimrod story?
Hi Jimmy, thank you for the friendship. We enjoy your work very much indeed. I'm working on the book title (bears in China), nothing yet though. Oh, how about: I'll be hugging you, sideways. Nah, you're right, you're right.
Its been a while and we thought it was about time we updated you on what we've been up to. Our debut EP Little World is now available at our gigs and will soon be available from our myspace and facebook pages, you will also be able to download it from itunes, but we don't have a release date for this as yet.
To celebrate the fact that we have now reached 25,000 plays on myspace, we are giving you a free MP3 of Rockabye Baby. All you have to do is send your email address to queen.elvis@yahoo.ie and we will send it to you.
We have spent the last year rehearsing with a full band and are now ready to bring it on the road. You can get a look at us when we appear on Balcony TV this week with the full line up. We are currently taking bookings for gigs/concerts/festivals and can be contacted on the email above, or through our myspace and facebook pages.
Thankyou for your continued support in what has been a great year for us!
