Jimmy Cooper is an Australian-born self-taught guitarist/singer/songwriter unbound by musical style and unable to find a steady bunch of dudes to jam with.

Although centered around the Alternative Rock genre, elements of acoustic, metal, and electronica lurk in the shadows, providing a sense of ambience and contrast.

Fans of heavier music will appreciate tracks like All This Sound and Thief while more rock orientated fans will be pleased with the Seattle-sounding Release Me or BritPop-influenced Victim of a One Night Stand.

Mind In Disease approaches heavy with a flavor somewhere between The Tea Party and Korn while Don't Wake the Dead is hauntingly acoustic.

Having recently completed a backlog of material for recording, writing is underway. Things are starting out on the acoustic guitar again the incorporation of a bit more electronica.

Recently completed is the Don't Wake the Dead Crooked County Remix, produced by Jimmy and upcoming Australian rap/hip-hop artists Spittin Image. The track is available from the Spittin Image website.

I recently remixed Nomads of Noise's track Time For a Trick. The track is available from the Nomads of Noise mp3.com.au site.
