Biography
I am a songwriter with no interest in playing live, I write in all genres and enjoy a challenge. I have a repertoire of songs already available or can write on request, I have been writing songs for over twenty years.
Inspired by all music history but favour 60’s and 70’s artists for personal listening I tend to see this era as allowing the greatest scope for music experimentation and creativity.
Currently I am a solo artist for recording purposes and I have a keyboard style inspired by the legendary Rolf the Dog and Chico Marx
Born at some time in the past and still alive at the time of typing, Dave Jackson is a songwriter and musician of talent beaten only by small children and circus animals. (I find it really hard to self promote seriously)
Perhaps my greatest claim is that I have only been ordered by the authorities to stop making so much noise only once in my twenty-five year career.
After more than a decade of trying to live as a normal person I have given up Normalcy to do what I know I was supposed to do all along.
