Jimmy Jangle is widely regarded as the pioneer of jazz triangle. From a lowly beginning at the back of his school orchestra, Jimmy developed his solo performance and stunned all at the age of sixteen, winning a music scholarship with his self-penned version virtuoso performance of Perry Como’s ‘Hot Diggity (Dog Zoggity Boom)’. The unique tone of this legendary performer is rumoured to be attributable to the quirky way in which the triangle is held, affectionately known as ‘the angle of Jangle’s dangle’. Many have tried to imitate this style but none have succeeded. Jimmy’s solo career continues to go from strength to strength and his back to back sell-out tours cover the three corners of the World.
I've been a fan of yours since I first heard you jam with Einsterzende Neubauten in the early 80's. The mix of industrial mayhem and psychedelic triangle was mesmerizing.
