I grew up around traditional Irish Music but heard Buck Owens, ELO, The Beatles and Chuck Mangione on 8-track in the car on the way to my fathers gigs. The Minute by Minute record by the Doobie Brothers grabbed me in grammar school along with Foreigner 4, CSN&Y Deja Vu, Journey Escape, Hall&Oats H2O, Van Halen I&II, and a few others thanks to my older sisters and their tendancy to CRANK music when they got home from school. After that, I was wide open to all kinds of music.
I am a singer/songwriter from Albany. I am back after living in Nashville for about 6 years. I lived in a pretty empty apartment, worked odd jobs to pay rent and went to as many writers nights as I could. I learned alot from the pro's, made some contacts and get back there every 4 to 6 weeks pitching songs and maintaining relationships. I also have a "Celtic-Rock" band. We play my originals mixed with high energy arrangements on jigs and reels and we do concerts and festivals. I played in Riverdance for 2 years in Radio City Music Hall(nice room) and I have been fortunate to have shared the stage with the likes of Eileen Ivers, Natalie Macmaster, Black 47, Seven Nations and even Amy Grant, Eddie Money and the Statler Brothers.
Enough with the name dropping already!
I also have a recording studio and am currently producing 2 projects. One for an irish singer and the other for a songwriter from the Adirondacks.

Hey Jimmy! I thought I would drop by to say that your friendship and support nearly blows me away. Thanks so much...you are incredible. Drop in and say “hello” when you get a chance. I hope love and everything wonderful comes your way!
Hey Jimmy. IDK if you remember me but I came to your open mic in Troy last winter when I was in the Albany area while I was student teaching. We were going to work on something together bu it never happened due to schedule conflicts. Besides the point the new stuff sounds great, especially the first song on your myspace. Its a very well crafted Country pop song. I can hear that being a radio hit. I am currently recording in Buffalo while being a substitute teacher and teaching voice to pay the bills and playing shows here and there. I hope all is well. Your on my top 20 friends, because you've made a profound impact on me as a songwriter in the brief time I've known you. Thanks again and take care!
Hey Jimmy - thanks for the add request. Great songs and arrangements. Keep up the good work and continued good luck with the music. And keep in touch if you're ever bound for the Emerald Isle.
We are stopping by to wish you the most fabulous holiday season ever. May you enjoy this special time with friends and family and all whom you love. Love and Peace on Earth.
Well hello there Jimmy! How nice to get a comment from you just like that...out of the blue! Thanks! Nashville you say.....can one expect more good music from you then? Found some inspiration? Anyway, I haven't forgotten about you and I still pop in here now and then to listen. That's 20 min walk from where I live, which actually is in a town of 60 000 people, but we've got the 600 000 people (more probably) town 'nextdoor'. All the best from me in Sweden!
Thanks for the add Jimmy!! SO glad to see you are still following your hearts desire! Hope all is well up there in the big city! Please give Denis all my best! Hope to see you guys in NC SOON! Remember.....you still owe me a joust!! (giggle) TTFN!!!
