A key player in the evolution of Brazil's reggae scene, Jimmy Luv has performed with groups, bands and sound systems in the country since the mid nineties. In 2002 he began working as a solo artist, laying down his distinctive vocals over a wide range of beats and riddims. In the same year he founded Familia 7 Velas, the first ragga crew to truly represent the genre in Brazil. He has released 3 albums to date, "Reggae Seu Coração" (2005), "Taca Mais Fogo!" (2007), and "Puro Fya" (2009).
