Jimmy is known as one of the most influential and talented blues guitarists in Northern California. He has been perfecting his craft for many years and it truly shows. Jimmy attracts attention wherever he plays because of his unique style and entertaining stage presence. He hails from St. Louis, Missouri, and has been blessed to share the stage with many famous and great Blues greats, such as Walter Trout, Tommy Castro, Leon Russell , Chuck Berry, Bobby Vega, Rare Earth and Richie Hayward.
Jimmy also loves to share his love of the Blues with kids. Since 2004, he has worked with the Sacramento Blues Society (SBS) in the effort to preserve and promote the indigenous American music known as the Blues in Sacramento schools. Jimmy has volunteered his time, teaching and performing, in SBS's "Blues In The Schools", a program that supplements the depleted arts enrichment programs for inner city students. His enthusiasm, love and respect for the Blues contributes greatly in SBS's effort to pass this music on to future Blues lovers and musicians.
Mark has developed a lyrical style that provides more than just the bottom end. His formal training began on upright bass playing jazz at an early age. When Mark moved from his native state of Virginia to California, he helped form the Strawmen, an all-original music band that continues to periodically write and record. He also joined the 77s, another local Sacramento band that records and tours nationally. Mark continues to write, record and produce original music, gig with other local bands, "loop" with other local bassists and perform session work.
Bruce is regarded as a world-class drummer and pro-vocalist. He has recorded and performed with an ever expanding list of internationally recognized artists and producers, as well as a who's who of regional luminaries including: Wynona Judd, The 77s, Jerry Garcia Band, Brent Bourgeois, Jackie Greene, Michael Roe, Larry Tagg, Roger Smith, Chris Webster, Charlie Peacock, Charlie Sexton and many, many others. You can get more info about Bruce at his website.
