About me:
Hey! It's the jokeman ... Jimmy Ruff! Woooooooo! heheheheeheheheheh!
Catch me each morning on the The Jason Lee Show. It's on Rock 107 ... EVERYTHING ROCK!
In the late 1960's, I was a professional songwriter and music producer. In November 1967, a song I wrote and produced called "Going to the Moon," was played on American Bandstand. The song never went anywhere on the charts, but it received a 75-percent positive rating on the show, which is a C-minus by high school standards (I think I don't know I wasn't an A student)!
The next year my other song "Now's the Time to Tell the People," was also played on American Bandstand. Back in the day, I was living the high life.
These days I like to do stand-up comedy and karaoke to a number of B.B. King standards at area bars and clubs. B.B. King used to be a close friend of mine. That was before having too much of a good time made me lose my house, my car, and my wife! Some of songs I sing good are "The Thrill is Gone," "Three O'Clock Blues," and "Payin' the Cost To Be the Boss." But I also take requests from all the pretty ladies out there. Join my fanclub!
