“Rock and the Roll with a little bit of soul’ is how energetic frontman Ash Guest describes Jimmy’s Roulette- a fresh sounding addition to the indie rock/ pop scene established in early 2007. With their influences ranging from early Rock and Roll and mainstream pop, Jimmy’s Roulette have earned a well-merited local fan base; who in the band see a mix of musical competence and brilliant song writing. The band’s songs are down to earth, but their style encompasses such a breadth of musical diversity in genre that it is no wonder Jimmy’s Roulette are so widely enjoyed. They offer a fresh, laid back but vibrant sound, much different from the majority of bands in the local scene at present.
Jimmy’s Roulette were formed in summer 2006 and consist of Ash Guest as front man, Mike Gray on lead guitar, Jonny Gibbs on bass and Sam Stephens on drums. Their greatest achievement to date was undoubtedly the invitation to play as support for mainstream poppers The Feeling at the Haywards Heath Big Culture Show- where they performed to a crowd of around 1,000 with aplomb.
We have put a new song up for you, it’s only a rough demo which hasn’t really been mixed well and hasn’t been produced but it will give you a taster of what may come next in our next recording sessions which we are trying to set before Christmas.

The Jim Jones Revue play a special XFM 14+ show at The Barfly in Camden this Monday. The show will be recorded and broadcast on John Kennedy's XFM Xposure radio show throughout November.
