  • General

    my general interests? being happy and enjoying my life, spending time with my daughter, traveling, making records and performing with the band, and writing books. I also love sports, especially football, but i also love baseball, hockey, and golf. I enjoy going to games or watching them on tv. and I'm addicted to fantasy football! I have other interests as well, but you would have to get to know me better to learn about those things....and then I'd have to kill you.

  • Music

    all types. I'm all about a good melody and a good beat...and amps that go to 11! actually, I like quiet amps. my amps only go to 7. ssshhh...keep it down.

  • Movies

    I love a good movie! "braveheart", "true romance", "once", "love actually", "no country for old men", "pulp fiction", "the big lebowski", "bandits" (did you ever see that one? bruce willis, billy bob and kate blanchet? a very underrated movie), hugh grant, russell crowe, jeff bridges, and clint eastwood productions (he's the man!).

  • Television

    I love watching tv! I tend to keep it on more for the company - background noise - sports mostly, the news, an occassional sitcom or late night program. I'm not into the reality shows at all...too real.

  • Books

    I love to read. when i find an author i like, i will typically read a handful of their books until i get bored and need something different. the author i'm into lately is Christopher Moore. i HIGHLY recommend 'Lamb: the gospel according to Biff, Christ's childhood pal' - one of the funniest, greatest stories ever told, in my opinion. 'You Suck' is also very, very good.

    everybody is somebody's hero, right? I have lots of heroes. bob, john, jimmy, jimi, dad, dali, da bears, kurt and goldie, braveheart, larry, moe, and curly - just to name a few.

About me:


I am the guitarist for the grammy award winning (very proud of that) rock band TRAIN. We will be releasing our fifth (and best, in my opinion!) CD, titled "Save Me San Francisco," on October 27th, 2009. The first single, "Hey Soul Sister", is currently playing on radio stations everywhere, so please request the song for us! We will tour relentlessly beginning in October. I have also finished writing my first novel titled 'The Guitar on the Wall," but don't have plans to publish until after the Train CD and tour are over. I currently reside in Las Vegas where I have a very beautiful, very smart, eight year-old daughter, and I also have a condo in Chicago where I like to attend sporting events (go Bears!) and hang out in one of my favorite cities in the world.     Thanks for befriending me on Myspace!  I'll do my best to get the word out about your show in Houston!!!  It's funny.. I worked for President Clinton when "Meet Virginia" came out.. (no, I wasn't an intern but a real staffer)...  I thought the lyrics were so funny (to just imagine how many people were "ripping" on him at the time!).  Have a safe and racous Halloween and I look forward to the concert November 22nd :)
