My two sons, God, Drums (and everything to do with them) and Martial arts. I completely enjoy spending quality time with my kids, playing with musicians of any style, and weaving the new connections with great players while creating those timeless compositional moments.
Music
All styles are great. My history is mostly centered around Progressive and Rock bands like Yes, Rush, ELP, Kansas, Dream Theatre, Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Pat Travers ect. The Rock and Metal original bands in my life were mostly centered around the San Francisco bay area and are as follows (to name a few..) Black Leather, Nightstalker, Devora, Kamikaze(w/Dick Smothers), Speed of Sound, Have No Fear, Wonderland(w/Jimmy Arceneaux), Hell N Back, Pigs, PRESS and now the Terry Lauderdale Band have all been a revolving continuous overall influence in my playing forum. Spanning through Blues, R&B, Funk, and contemporary Dance and Jazz bands created a fun toolbox for building a solid frontier of styles for writing and expression within my career and I completely appreciate those who are a part of that curriculum in my past and present musical endeavors. For a solid 8 years I played in a fantastic Bay Area band called "Sweet Talk" with seasoned musicians Gayle Sutherland, Dave Moreno and Art Floresca from 99' thru 08'. Playing the versatile and wide varieties of styles musically with them was a very rewarding experience.

Born and raised in Southern California, I started playing drums in my late teens thanks to the backgrounds of my uncle and grandfather both playing jazz and rock drums. After moving to the Bay Area I have been through a multitude of Metal, Rock, R&B, Powerpop, and Blues groups and have not stopped playing since I first arrived.
