Yesterday in our weekly scripture study we pondered John 10:1-5...Jesus the good shepherd. Have to tell you how grateful I am for times on the Needler farm...how it deepened & strengthened my soul to understand & know who I am or how I need to be. I just had to share with the group and remind you of my sheep story of being alone in the Needler house one morning and waking up to all the sheep having escaped their pen. all over the road and with Wheeling Tpke right there. I was scared to death they were gonna get hit by some car driving through (not that we had much traffic out there but I still had my city girl mentality). You were working at the gas station and I had to get the job done. Some shepherd I was. They did not know my voice or follow me. However I probably scared them enough and was able to get them back in pens on either side of the road. I am so fortunate to have experienced "shepherding"...a little.

hey Uncle Jim... not sure if you had heard our news ,Elliott Orion Bailey was born on Saturday April 11th at 8:57 pm weighed 7'8 and 20.5 inches long. We ended up going to the hospital after about 55 hours of laboring at home. We are both healthy and happy and thats all that really matters.

It's healing...they took stiches out last Monday, I can walk short distances without crutches, so I think thats good....Woody has been taking great care of me :) How is everything in Kentucky?
