I have the pleasure of performing with these bands...
John Reischman and The Jaybirds

Four years of touring across North America and Europe, three critically-acclaimed albums and a Canadian Juno nomination have established John Reischman and the Jaybirds as one of the top-flight bands in bluegrass music.
With a unique traditional sound, the mandolin master and his band are known for powerful original songs and instrumentals, soaring vocals and refreshing interpretations of songs from the old-time repertoire presented with their own bluegrass twist. John Reischman and the Jaybirds are John, Trisha Gagnon, Nick Hornbuckle, Greg Spatz, and Jim.
Dix and Jim

Dix Bruce and Jim Nunally are award-winning acoustic guitarists. Their concerts showcase beautiful vocal harmonies ("They sound like the Everly Brothers…with a lot more nitty gritty" -- Flatpicking Guitar magazine) and exciting guitar playing ("…west coast virtuosos…" -- Acoustic Musician magazine) delivered with good humor and dazzling digital dexterity!
The duo’s performances are a trademark mixture of wit, emotion, energy, sincerity, and, of course, lots of hot guitar playing. Their enthusiasm is infectious and promotes a wonderful time for all. Jim and Dix’s music is featured on the soundtrack to the best-selling computer game “The Sims.”
Combine elements of traditional and contemporary folk, country, bluegrass, and original music, virtuoso guitar playing, and lots of down home good humor and you’ll get Bruce and Nunally. Great solo and duet singing, and songwriting, amazing guitar playing, great fun!
Keith and Jim

Longtime friends and collaborators, Keith Little and Jim Nunally are best known to bluegrass audiences for their tenure in top national bands (Ricky Skaggs, David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, Country Gentlemen, John Reischman and the Jaybirds), and performances on award-winning recordings (Dolly Parton's Little Sparow, and the compilation True Life Blues: The Songs Of Bill Monroe, among others).
Composers as well as multi-instrumentalists, their distinctive vocal sound enjoys an enthusiastic following in Northern California.
Due West
Combine five of today’s hottest West Coast instrumentalists with original material and a high-octane bluegrass sound and the result is Due West, a San Francisco Bay Area-based group that is making a name for itself on the national music scene by combining the innovations of West Coast new acoustic music with a bluegrass rhythmic drive rarely heard west of the Appalachians.
Due West is Cindy Browne, Tashina Clarridge, Erik Thomas, Jim, and Bill Evans
The David Grisman Bluegrass Experience

Since 2003 Jim has performed with the DGBX. The band features some high powered talent including Keith Little on banjo and vocal, Chad Manning on fiddle, and the outstanding bass playing of Sam Grisman. David is of course the driving force of the band with his superb mandolin and vocals. The DGBX is: Keith Little, Chad Manning, Dawg, Sam Grisman, Jim. Photo by Bob Haking.
