Even better than Jim Pearson's first album, Unlucky For Some is chock full of beautifully visual, almost cinematic songs that seem so damn 'real'. The lyrics steer far clear of melodrama and deliver honest stories, tales and thoughts that stay with you for days. It's as if each song is a screenplay in it's own right with a backdrop of instrumenation that swings from simple elegance to punchy bittersweet tension. Well worth repeated listens.

Hi Jim! Long time, good to hear from you. And thanks so much for the kind words. We have hunch they are pretty good but so far we haven..t recieved that much of feedback. We are mixing the album right now and hopefully we..ll be finished at this side of the year!
Hi Jim, nice hearing Miss September, the song that introduced me to you via garageband...and it has been fantastic listening to your songs since. Thanks for listening to Summer Showers...I was going for a sparse, moody piece...and I think it works. Not a standard song-song...That pic of lightning was from my backyard vantage point a few weeks ago...We had hella lightning that night...see u Richard

Hi Jim! Inviting you to check out my more 'produced' video here in my now dedicated Beatles Cover site. The video was fun to create with my inexpensive Flip, you can fit this in your pocket, yet it is pretty decent...Hope all is sunny in your world! take care, Richard
Jim, really like your two new ones, seems like you always have 'new one'...I like your use of banjo, Stephen Foster-like, yet British and modernly meloncholy. I have a new song, A Way Out up in my player. Giver an ear when u can! Richard
