GeneralAlmost anything related to comic art and comics history. And my never-ending ballroom dance lessons. Check out www.dancingforanimals.org for more info!
MusicI seem to listen to a lot of Leonard Cohen lately, although I have picked up the new CDs from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Alice Cooper, and the Tiger Lilies. Also been enjoying Hogzilla-- live at various venues around NYC.
MoviesI don't really have favorites, but when pressed to name a favorite movie I'll mention both The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and The Long Goodbye. I was also very happy with Spider-Man movies.
TelevisionHard to watch much, but my current favorite is The Wire. I also enjoy Curb Your Enthusiasm, Flight of the Conchords, and Dexter. And if I get home early enough, I try to catch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
BooksThere are so many great books I hope to read, that I doubt if I'll live long enough to read most of 'em.

   Jim Salicrup's Blurbs
About me:
I'm the Editor-in-Chief of a new graphic novel publisher called Papercutz (www.papercutz.com -- we currently publish TALES FROM THE CRYPT, BIONICLE, NANCY DREW, THE HARDY BOYS, CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED, and CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED DELUXE!), and a trustee on the board of the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (www.moccany.org). Because MoCCA and Papercutz are both new ventures, it's vitally important to get the word out about how wonderful they both are. Not just to comicbook fans, but to everyone who enjoys pop culture. And that's why I'm here -- to spread the word. To get more people, such as YOU, aware that great comics exist and are out there waiting just for YOU!
Who I'd like to meet:
I'm always looking for people who are interested in volunteering for the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art! We need you to make this wonderful organization even more wonderful.

"PROXIMA"
The Last Sci-Fi Movie

..

"In the vein of Solaris, K-PAX
and The Man Who Fell to Earth,
PROXIMA is a refreshing film full of wonder."
(LONDON SCI-FI FESTIVAL)

"If you’re looking for something different
in science fiction from your traditional lasers
and alien monsters, check out
Carlos Atanes’s PROXIMA.
Remember Proxima is not just a place,
it’s a state of mind… literally
."
(NIC BROWN, B MOVIE MAN)

"PROXIMA is an endearingly off-beat sci-fi film
whose odder moments owe to the visionary
can-do determination of Spanish
underground director Carlos Atanes."
(CARL J. SCHROEDER,
THE MYSTICAL MOVIE GUIDE)

Playboy has uploaded the second of three animated cartoons by Mort Todd and Cliff Mott, the sexy superheroine BUNNI POWER!

If for some reason the link doesn't work (MySpace doesn't like Playboy?), paste this tongue-twister into your browser: http://www.playboy.com/articles/playmation-nation-bunni-power-up-skirt-upset/index.html

And if you haven't already checked out the first cartoon HISTORY BUFF, do so now!

You can find this historical hilarity at: http://www.playboy.com/articles/playmation-nation-history-buff/index.html

And coming soon, the third of these future classics: CUNNING STUNTS!
