I am a stand up comedian.
I am an Information Technology Manager by day
I am from Connecticut
I may be among the better comics you've never heard of.
For over a decade I was the host of a television program called The Lone Shark. The Lone Shark was an award winning locally produced television show which aired (often live) for the better part of 10 years until the show was BANNED FOR LIFE by an over-zealous station manager (that and the fact that we broadcast some porn video that featured, shall we say, some hot back door action.)
Because of my ousting from hosting my live television program, I figured the next best thing for me to do was perform stand up comedy (where no one could edit me). It'll be 3 years this summer in the comedy game and it's taken a little less than that time for me to become a charter member of the jaded, bitter, stand up comic community.
I've been lucky enough to perform in NYC alongside some of my comedy heros: guys like Jim Gaffigan, Dave Attell, Artie Lange, Jeffrey Ross, and Jim Norton are just some of my favorites who I've gotten to perform alongside with (I guess those God damn bringer shows are good for something.
I've taken the Eddie Brill comedy workshop at Gotham and I found it to be a valuable learning experience....except maybe for the part where I fell off the stage right after my audition!
Special thanks to Jessica Kirson who has been the nicest to me in all my dealings with New York City comedy folk, many of whom suck ass. Thanks also to Gotham Comedy Club, among the City's finer venues!
...and mad props to Matisyahu, just because there aren't enough Hasidic Reggae acts out there. Mazel Tov, Nigga.
