This site has the music of Jim Signorile, and also that of "Tired Starlings" which is a cyber-collaboration band consisting of Jim Signorile (Teaneck, New Jersey, USA) and Hans Weenink (AKA Half Blind Lefty (HBL) from the Netherlands). Jim and Hans are the lead guitarists Hans and I (Jim) started playing and doing cyber-collaborations several years ago, and since then most of my collaborative work has been with Hans. He is a Phenomenal Guitar player, with the most beautiful and rich tone, and an ability to make you FEEL what he is feeling (which is what Blues is all about!) and it's been a true joy to have been playing with him and I hope we can continue to play together for a long time to come! HBL (Hans) is a guitar player similar in style to Jim, but with a sound that is totally unique and impossible to duplicate I (Jim) have learned SO MUCH from him and his great playing!! Grahme Leadbetter (Glasgow, Scotland) was previously a member of Tired Starlings. We both came from mainly folk guitar and classical backgrounds, but soon after meeting online we began working on various blues and rock projects together, and decided to make this page with our collaborations and a few of our own personal projects. Grahme has gone on to being a full time studio musician in Scotland, and no longer has had time to be in collaborations as part of Tired Starlings. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us since 2006, and gave us some excellent advice and inspiration for our music. Jim and Hans (HBL) and Grahme.

Bio:

Tired Starlings is a cyber-collaboration between Jim Signorile (Teaneck, New Jersey, USA) and Grahme Leadbetter (Glasgow, Scotland). We both came from mainly folk guitar and classical backgrounds, but recently have been working on various blues and rock projects and decided to make this page with our collaborations and a few of our own personal projects.

HALF BLIND LEFTY (HBL- AKA Hans) from the Netherlands, has joined Tired Starlings, as Grahme has gone on to being a full time studio musician in Scotland, and no longer has had time to be in collaborations as part of Tired Starlings. Hans and I (Jim) started playing and doing cyber-collaborations over a year ago, and since then most of my collaborative work has been with HBL and he is a Phenomenal Guitar player, with the most beautiful and rich tone imaginable, and an ability to make you FEEL what he is feeling (which is what Blues is all about!) and it's been a true joy to have been playing with him and I hope we can continue to play together for a long time to come!!!

Jim is the lead guitarist and Grahme plays acoustic guitar, bass and keyboards, most of the drum backing is created from Steinberg Groove Master. HBL (Hans) is a guitar player similar in style to Jim, but with a sound that is totally unique and impossible to duplicate I (Jim) have learned SO MUCH from him and his great playing!!

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us since 2006, and gave us some excellent advice and inspiration for our music.

I promised Dennis (Bathory-Kitsz) that I would help to support him and his opera "Erzsébet: The Blood Countess Opera", which has been the main work of his life since 1987 (over 20 years) and this project was only to be funded via Kickstarter if at least $12,000 was pledged by Tuesday June 15, 11:59pm EDT. Dennis received pledges of at least 75% of this amount - but unfortunately it wasn't 100% and so that effort on Kickstarter has ended....

That is his official personal music site for the opera and other information) you can donate (as any donations you may have made through kickstarter has been cancelled and you will NOT be charged for that) and the donations seem to be coming in at a good pace - so ANY help would be SO SO SO much appreciated...

...AND... it looks like if we ALL chip in just a bit to help out Dennis (and he has helped SO many others that really, it IS his turn!) this opera production has a VERY GOOD chance of being a reality and you will NOT be sorry you helped!

AND...This isn't only a pure donation. There are some remarkable rewards, including t-shirts, DVDs, libretti, tickets, and for higher donations, some REALLY AMAZING treasures!!

It's something that will come back around and make your life one in which you will be helped when you need it most (some call it KARMA but I don't want to chase away anyone that doesn't believe or like that concept!)
