Sounds Like
A guy whose influences include John Prine, Willie Nelson, Shel Silverstein, Steve Goodman, Guy Clark, Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Jeff Walker and Hoagy Carmichael, I suppose.
"Cook Somethin' Up"
Jim's 'Food Network' blues. So, what's going on in YOUR kitchen?
"Ride the Rodeo"
A new song written to accompany this slideshow/video.
"Ol'Factory Blues"
Jim Six (left) is joined by Greg Potter on guitar and Jon Mollenhauer on Dobro at Mugs Coffeehouse, Swedesboro, NJ on May 17, 2008 for a performance of Jim's song, "Ol'Factory Blues."
Jim Six was a full-time, professional musician for more than 10 years.
The singer/songwriter worked with performers such as Tammy Wynette, Mel Tillis, The Oak Ridge Boys, Tom Rush, David Amram, Eric Anderson, Livingston Taylor, John Denver, Emmy Lou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Asleep At The Wheel, Penn & Teller and Patti Smith.
He quit the music business in 1983 and hung up his guitar - didn?t even strum a chord for most of the intervening years.
It seems the rest has done him good.
Jim Six is back, writing songs and playing and singing better than ever.
And what is Jim Six music? Folk, blues, country, pop, rock, standards, originals and covers — and only songs he really likes.

Hey Jim, I caught part of your radio appearance Saturday morning. I heard you perform "Man on the Moon" and another dance song and caught some interview clips (you're a relaxologist?). It sounded like you and Greg had a good time!
