We have put a new song up for you, it’s only a rough demo which hasn’t really been mixed well and hasn’t been produced but it will give you a taster of what may come next in our next recording sessions which we are trying to set before Christmas.
Enjoy! It’s called 'Stop'. Please tell us what you think.
Hey Jim, trying to get my head around Facebook. Noticed you graduated in Humanities from Greenwich Uni. Hell I did the same thing in 1988. It was Thames Poly then, is Paul Stignant still there, what about Pete Humm? Probably long gone by now. Gravesend eh? I love the old gun battery down there. Pocahontas still there? CA.
Hi Jim, thanks for letting me in. I'm in the middle of a long week's work at the mo, but I will be around soon. Got my HW tickets for Bristol and Southampton, giving the Hawklords a miss, been burned too many times.
Hey Jim! Welcome aboard and if you're going to the saturday night Porchester gig then see you there man!...Really looking forward to it!! All the best, Neil.
All here in “Omnia Opera” land welcome you into our cyber bosom. We dig where you’re coming from. Glad that Andy is sorting the Tshirts for you. We are all connected. Yours, Captain Bagley, Omnia Opera…Go beyond…Over and Out!
Thanx 4 having me! Did you go to Windsor Free Festival? I remembered seeing a band there called Wooden Lion. I remembered the singer singing while hanging upside down from the stage scaffolding. I did a myspace search on a whim and actually found them. The lineup has changed as you might expect, but I still like them now. They're now called That Legendary Wooden Lion. Here's the link if you fancy checking them out http://www.myspace.com/thatlegendarywoodenlion
Hope you have a great weekend too. Mine should be cool. I've been given a free pass to Cornberry festival. Flutatious are on (ex-Hawkfest) plus The Damned,The Peatbog Faeries and many other bands I don't know. Strangely The Sugarbabes are on too! Shouldn't have too much trouble avoiding them though (I think I'll seek refuge in the nearest bar!). Will
The Summer Solstice has, again, come and passed. It has been 25 years since the last People's Free Festival, an event that was brutally and outrageously suppressed in an orgy of violence that was organised and affirmed by our government - our servants!
Along with the right to live a lifestyle outside of the mainstream, the violent and deliberate actions of our elected representatives and their minions largely destroyed the culture of protest against war, environmental and governmental issues that had grown up over the previous 15 years of free festivals.
Only in recent years have people begun to fight back in numbers. The culture of resistance is building again and it is the duty of everyone to stand up and make their feelings known.
Stand up to the BNP - these people do not represent Britain or the British people. Do not let the Government get away with ever again dragging us into wars we have no place fighting, in countries where we have no interest. Shame the greedy MPs who have taken every chance to bulk their salaries to huge proportions using generous expenses whilst the common people lose their jobs. Hound the bankers and investors who have grown rich whilst ruining the economy, our economy and our livelihoods, surviving on bale-outs and hand-outs that cost every citizen dearly.
Make the will of the people known. Take every chance to make your voice heard.
We are born free - use that freedon wisely and vocally.
