I love 80s indie/electronica and I'm inspired by the lyrical wit of Jarvis Cocker and Morrissey when it comes to songwriting.

A mish mash of Pulp/New Order/The Smiths with alot of ambient/electronica thrown in.
In the late nineties, a teenager started experimenting with electronic music. Eventually he recorded 12 songs which he distributed on CD to his school friends. The CD in question was a badly produced collection of cack, and almost a decade later still makes its creator cringe.
But those days are behind him. Jim Steele is the pseudonym/brainchild of Jamie T - a bedroom singer/songwriter/producer who is stuck in a dead end job and wants out. Pissing your adult life down the toilet is only fun until you have to urinate in the dark because the electric company cut you off.
