Currently
, Jim has co-produced an album of jazz standards with Marti Pellow (due for
release early next year to coincide with a European Tour), is working with Katie
Melua- touring on and off this year , and has co-written an album with Chris
Difford(Squeeze).
He is featured
as a member of the Guy Barker Quintet on the soundtrack to the forthcoming Anthony
Mingella(The English Patient) film. Also he is peforming in Clare Teals Band
and performing with Guy Barkers Amadeus Project- a jazz big band piece with
narration.He is also a member of the BBC Big Band and can be heard monthly on
Radio 3, and is also performing with Hamish Stuart(Ex Paul Mcartney/Average
White Band).
Jim has toured
with Zero 7 and Sia through 2004/2005 and in 2001 co-wrote the music for the
Warner Brothers movie Oceans 11.He also played on the soundtrack to Joachim
Phoenix produced movie, Buffalo Soldiers.
