General
You - my books are full of characters based on people I know. People are fascinating. I'm also very much at home in observatories with nothing between me and outer space but some good hardware. Or out on the beach that's never on a map.
Music
Bob Dylan, Roger Waters, Alan Parsons, Frente!, Clumsy Lovers, Willie Nelson, The Jayhawks, Beth Hart, Angie Hart - gosh, I filled up my 30 gb I-Pod in a day, so I can't list 'em all.
Movies
Incredible Lightness of Being, Damage, Leaving Las Vegas, Dolores Claiborne
Television
Boston Legal, Sopranos, Fox News
Books
"Glass," "Omens," "Level Heads," "Secret Things" - all by Jim W. Coleman. Outside of that, "Twilight Eyes" by Dean R. Koontz or "Naked Came the Sasquatch," John Boston.
Heroes
Our brave soldiers. Everyone who stops to really help someone else out and does so in a way that no one else notices.
About me: I am an avid database programmer, horror novelist, astrophotographer, gardener, sunbather (is that a word?) and, above all, a devoted Daddy. It's been said that I'm the life of the party. Go ahead, invite me to one. It gives me great ideas for my next book.
I love Stephen King as much as the next person but, for crying out loud, step out and try something new. My books are available from amazon.com or virtually anywhere you can order books. If you were to do anything for me, it would be to buy my latest book. You'd be doing yourself a favor, too. Broaden your horizons. I work very hard to give you a great ride - but you have to get in and buckle up. I'll drive. You may scream on the corners but I'll get you where you want to go.
If you are new to my writing, I would heartily recommend that you start with LEVEL HEADS XE: THE DELUXE EDITION. It is a good sampling of my writing, from humor to the ultra creepy. From there, try GLASS if you're into the CSI thing. By then, you'll be hooked and you can read all five. :)
Who I'd like to meet: ANGIE HART. - I'd like to talk about "Calmly."
Outside of that: Jennifer Jason Leigh (purely to satisy the pervert side of me who likes wild rides). Stephen King's agent (purely to satisfy the artistic side of me). Juliette Binoche (surely to drool and babble over). You (for whatever is left).
my youngest and her husband are expecting in August...so I'm looking for a job in Kitsap County cuz my hubby and I are returning home after 3 years of being gone...so Barb and I'll be grandma's together.
