"On Sunday afternoon (Feb 1st) I played a gig in Jinty M'Guinty's. It was - for me - one of the most enjoyable one's I've done lately." - Jim Byrne
"I really had a lovely day (Jan 4th) and met some really nice people and I look forward to playing there again very soon" - Mary K. Burke
Jinty McGuinty's welcomes you to a new Sunday Afternoon acoustic session in the now world famous bar in Ashton Lane, Glasgow.
Whether you are an acoustic guitar playing singer/songwriter or a musician of any description for that matter, why not come round and join in the session. Or just sit back and relax to the fresh new music that will be on offer.
Those who are invited to play the sessions will be fed and watered handsomely, while those who just get up to do a song will be rewarded with a beer for their efforts.
The event is fortnightly and there will always be a space available to play.
If you'd like to select a date to come in and offer your wares, please leave a message (not a comment please) and we'll be happy to have you.
The sessions will take place every second Sunday between 3 - 6pm
*Please note. Due to the size of the venue, these are strictly acoustic sessions. If you'd like to have two or three people perform, then instruments should be kept to a minimum and experience of sardine tin conditions would be an advantage.
There is also a variety of different music to listen to at Jinty's throughout the week, so keep yourself posted by checking the gig guide and pop in for a beer and fantastic atmosphere anytime.
**UNFORTUNATELY, KIDS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE BAR ITSELF, BUT SUPERVISED ACCESS TO THE BEER GARDEN WOULD BE PERMITTED BETWEEN 3PM & 5:30PM - SORRY**

Our song "GOOD MORNING GLASGOW TOWN" has had 350,000 web hits, reaching No.2 on the ReverbNation Scottish Folk charts. It's been played frequently on local radio stations such as Celtic Music Radio, Pulse FM, etc. Hope you like it too.
