A gentle blend of acoustic guitars and vocal harmony...
What a great pleasure to hear jiva twice in a week. Firstly at the Davy Lamp Folk Club and then at the Clarence in Blackpool.
An act maturing with every show, and now displaying that precious ability to write songs that capture an audience's heart. The song about best friends is a pure winner. Superb!!!
Anthony John Clarke
I can’t get enough of their exquisite and gentle playing/singing. I don’t know what it is they have that’s so special, but I do know they have lots of it.
Terry Ferdinand, Bishop FM Radio
Thanks again for your music - I find it soothing, emotional and just what music should be - thought provoking.

That was divine - you are a pair of angels.
The Plough, Staining
jiva always enthral us with their gentle blend of guitar and harmony and last night was no different - their performance was enchanting as always.
Foggy Furze Folk Club
We are honoured to have contributed our song "Some Way Home" to the Double CD
"Forget Me Not" in aid of Alzheimer's. The CD has 26 tracks from songwriters
from many countries - all have donated their time, talent and music to this
worthy cause. ALL proceeds from sales go direct to Alzheimer's Society in
Ireland.
Most often seen in UK North East folk clubs,
jiva also
support local charity MIND
Active by giving monthly performances for residential care homes.
We are also happy to play at concert venues, festivals, corporate and
social functions (with our own state of the art Bose L1 sound system if required)... or even a 'house
concert' in your front room!
Oh yes...look out for the jiva
design logo at a site near you - we also
do websites etc in our 'spare' time!
